I usually just take a camera instead. <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: --> Seriously, that is a great sketch, the perspective looks spot on. Not easy to learn or do!

I had a lady come through the Towe Auto museum where I volunteer as a docent on Sundays. It's very unusual for a woman to come into a car museum alone. It was a little slow Sunday and she came in by herself and paid the small entrance fee. She had a tiny little sketch pad not much bigger than a post-it note and was doing amazingly quick sketches of a few of the cars she admired when I noticed her. We talked, and I trailed around with her for a short time, watching her do little free-hand pen sketches with really nice perspective. We finally came to the spot where I have my 1934 Auburn on display (that's it in my avatar). I gave her a little background on the car and ACD and then left her to take a group around the museum after giving her my card.

Well, today I got this little sketch of my car in the mail with a note of thanks. It made my day to run into a woman who likes old cars and was as thoughtful as she was.
