"The Pacific" - being filmed in Melbourne was created by Greg Walsh
The Spielberg / Hanks sequel to Band of Brothers is currently being filmed in Melbourne and has the town a little 'a-buzz' with Hollywood glam types.
Latest pics are from filming at one of the oldest schools in town - Melbourne High School - which was requisitioned by the Royal Australian Navy after the outbreak of WWII. They used school kids in Navy uniforms for a parade of sorts but there are a number of cars featured in the attached link which will be of interest.
The Cadillac limo in the last pic was actually for sale recently with the caveat that it was leased to the film corp for 4 months during filming.
Very much looking forward to seeing the next installment - hopefully as good as the first.
