Two tired pilgrims after a day of playing domino's and pitching washers. We were in the town made famous in the Waylon and Willie song, the group feasted on sauerkraut and sausage. Never were so many ACD cars in town at one time, in the little town of Luckenbach.

It was very interesting touring the modern Mooney airplane plant. Here are members Gary and Charmagne during the walk-thru of the plant.

The guards loaned everyone safety glasses as they did not shut down the assembly line for the ACD group viewing.

They run very high speed machines to produce these flying machines from tubing and sheet metal they keep in stock inventory. They have 10 Ton presses that form the door panels.

The airframes and skins seem to be 99% handmade with extreme safety measures as heat tempering and filing edges to prevent stress cracking.
