Good one DJ! This is a picture that I was not supposed to know about. Taylor has spent a lot of time going with me to car events. Of my two children she has shown the most interest in the car. She came to Auburn in 2004. It's tough to get your kids to spend time with you and my Cord has done a great job of getting us all together.

I was looking for a photo to submit to the Newsletter so I pestered the photographer to release one early. He came up with this one.

Taylor and Josh came out for a photo shoot between the wedding and the reception. I must have been drinking at the bar about that time. I think they had planned to surprise me with a framed copy of this one. I beat them to the punch but not on purpose. I was just trying to get something into the newsletter.

I think this photo captures their joy and the purpose for which the Cord Convertible Coupes were built. They were, and still are the ultimate vehicle for two people who want to get out and enjoy life!

Another picture that really captures the joy of being in a convertible coupe is this one. It is one of my favorites.

The car left in style with such a wonderful couple. All cars (not just Cords) should have a day like that.

CONGRATS!

Bill,

Congratulations are traditionally in order; so congratulations on gaining a son!
Don't fret over her absence; in 2-3 months you'll discover that you can enjoy the home more with just you and the wife!
best regards,
oscar
