I say get this. Reason is this is the better old style fit for our cars brake drums. Getting a motor rebuilt is very easy. I can suggest a great location out here in California that I have purchased from. Randy Ema told me about this shop years ago and its about 6 miles from my home shop. How lucky was that... One bit of advice is be careful cleaning the dust from the brake shoe arcing end. Depending how old this machine is it probably has arced some asbestos lining.

I've got an opportunity to by a barrett brake doctor. Its got the drum resurfacer, shoe arcing grinder and all the adapters on the original bench. Need 1 motor rebuilt. Trying to figure out if I'm better getting an ammoco arcing machine or this and what they're worth.
