the current condensors availible are complete garbage. Always carry a spare in your car. Get comfortable with how to check and adjust your points. A good Idea is to solder on a spring clamp onto the body of the condensor and the lead. It allows you to add a secondary one to your ignition with out opening your distributer. That way if you start having spark issues whil driving you can just clip it on. It doesn't harm anything to have more than one on a car.
