Kim,
Unfortunately that SJ was never Ab Jenkins's car. In fact, the only J he ever owned was J-557, the Duesenberg Special that was later given an aircraft engine and rechristened the Mormon Meteor.
The car in the museum was built up in the 1970s using a lot of reproduction parts and engine J-558.
The Price Museum now has Mormon Meteor III, while the original Duesenberg Special has been restored and is owned by a Club member in Ohio.

Ab Jenkens "morman metor III". was created by kedeuel2008
The Ab Jenkens Morman Metor III sat in Salt Lake City,Ut. at the Reo Grande train station in downtown for over 30 years before the jenken's family took it out of the station and restored it. Then the family after the restoration was finished (I belive it was Randy Ema that restored it.) the family went to RM Classics in 2003 or 4 to sell the car. The colors of the car was the same as they are now. Also did you know that Ab had a SJ dual cowl pheaton as his daily driver ?. That car was in a small unknown museum in SLC. and was just recently sold about 4 to 6 months ago. Those two were the two cars that really got me the Duesenberg bug. Yeah. I got a chance to set inside of both cars at seperate times. I haave always loved those two. And hope that they are well loved and driven. Kim
