L-29 convertible sedan in Paris

I noticed the Cord Emblem on the side mount cover is mounted virticly on the back side of the cover. Don't remember seeing that mounting position before.

This L-29 was part of a concours of elegance in Paris, France, that was held on June 6th 1930. The location is the old Parc des Princes stadium on West of Paris. The registration number, 66-KF1, is from the area of Cherbourg, the city where transatlantic liners arrived in France.
