Guess with winter here it didn't cross my mind, but with your summer there it crossed yours :)
Thanks Mate!

Aris, black appears to have been an optional colour.
Quoting from the Engineering Changes Book on page 36.
"Correction on Paint and Trim Combinations for 1937 Cords, Dated 1/22/37
Top Material listed on the Ivory Cab and Phaetons reads Black and should be regular Light top material. When Black is used it will be special."
Black would not be such a good choice in a hot climate.

Phaeton Soft Top color restoration was created by Aris Loumidis
My top is in great shape, however the tan color has faded in places and it has a rust mark from a bad screw.

Has anyone tried dyeing it? I found on line dyeing products but could not locate any TAN shades, only dark ones like black, brown etc. I’m not sure if a black top was original on a Phaeton, but it will certainly look awful on my Ivory body and I want to keep the tan original shade.

Any ideas where can I find Tan dyes, or a source that could make it for me ? I have spare pieces that the late Rick Hulett send me along with it from way back.

Thanks ahead,
Aris
