Wat Adams' Westchester was created by Terry Cockerell
I am looking for information on the Westchester formerly owned by Wat Adams.
This car was white or a very light colour in the 1950s
I would like to know if it still exists and its Serial Number.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Terry Cockerell

What ( no PUN intended )condition is it in, is it still driven or under restoration etc ?

I'm glad to say it is completely together as when Wat had it, and it is not rusted.
But it does need a complete restoration, I'm getting very anxious to start working on it, probably towards the end of this year. I look forward to making it a good driver and driving it to Auburn within the next couple years.

Wonderful news Brian. Restoring a Cord does take a huge effort as I have found. The problem here in Australia is that you have to keep reinventing the wheel as Cords are so rare . Thank God for the Internet and the ACD Club's helpful members.
Have you checked the Serial Number yet ???

Yes I know, I do a fair amount of restoration work on various cars regularly, I really enjoy the work, it does take a lot of time, i'm looking forward to doing more work on the Cords. I enjoy talking to Stan and Mark Clayton. I can imagine that it is tough to obtain parts and services in Australia related to old cars, I will be looking at the Wat Adams car in the next couple days.
