This is the grease I used on my original leather seals in my main vacuum cylinder. Hope it helps others.

With brakes, two cylinders are better than one.

I have no recommendation. I merely located where to find the goop.

Thanks Tom for the speedy responce to my question. This is exactly what I needed. Went out and found the "special grease". Now I need to call Wellington Kansas to ask about the three seals I purchased from them last year. Not sure about the installation direction or which of the small seals goes where.

silicone grease was created by 1748 S
I'm preparing to essemble my main vacuum cylinder. About a year back someone here suggested using silicone grease on the leather cups.So I have looked for it but not finding it at auto parts stores. Anyone know what this grease is by name and application? Thanks... Synthetic is easy to find but not what I wanted.
