So in hopes of seeing inside my gas tank I purchased a small borescope that will work on my cell phone. Its a cheap part with 6 lcd lights in the end of it. So I hopefully can see what and where my suction is attached to the tank. It appears to be soldered to the drain bung area but why. I see no need for this attachment. When I get the borescope I will figure out the pic postings method here and show what the tank looks like inside and out.

How does the gas tank suction line come out of the tank. Mine feels like it is attached to something in the tank.
