Thanks for this information. Now it makes sense why mine are non magnetic and why the person that chromes items asked about the metal makeup of my parts.

Can someone tell me what the metal is that the shiny looking bezels are to all the gauges? I felt it was steel but nope. Its non magnetic. Any chance its brass with a chrome finish ???
