Hello:

An excellent source for materials for your car would be through Club member Rick Hulett of Auburn Cord Restorations of Shawnee Mission, Kansas. He is both knowledgable and helpful on the subject of proper Cord interiors for all models. His telephone number is: 913 362-8223.

Hello all,

I'm in need of some guidance in regards to upholstery/hood lining.

Restoration of my '37 Westchester is coming along nicely, and I've decided to go with the black exterior/grey interior colour scheme.

I'm not sure on the following though:

1 - how much fabric will I need? I think I read once that 5 yards will do the trick for the seats. Is this correct?
2 - can anybody provide me with a good source for broadcloth? I know of Hirsch Auto. Any others?
3 - how light/dark should the grey colour be? I've never actually seen a light grey broadcloth interior. Cords are scarce on the ground here in Australia, y'see...
4 - Is the Wilton 1 carpet (as listed on the Hirsch site) suitable?

Any information much appreciated.
