What Is This Plate

Well everyone that has offerd help to determine what and if this plate is needed or a part to our Cord engines can rest now. A very kind friend called Moe thats part of these great 810 & 812 cars called me and fixed it. This is not part of our engines. So rest easy everyone. Mo figured it out from all the engines he has assembled over the years. Thanks Mo for the help. I was about to buy this just to have it wether or not I needed it. Money saved is money earned...
