The 810-812 use a Type D Startix. There are two styles of type D Startix.
The early one has two small rectangular notch holes in the cover to accept the internal solenoid mounting plate, the new style does not. Your 810-812 uses the late style that is cad plated.

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

Hi all,

I understand that the correct Startix for the Cord 810/812s is a 6 volt type 'D' - is this correct? Were any other types used? A type 'F' has been offered to me, but I'm a bit of a stickler for details so I thought I'd check first.

Thanks.
