Hi,

In 30-some years of going to the Auburn Reunion, I have never seen an 810/812 with under-hood insulation. I don't have any factory information on the issue of hood insulation or hood lining, but in light of the Cord's problems with overheating, it strikes me that adding such a baffle might have undesired heating consequences.

Hi, all,
I wondering if our Cords originally came with any type of hood lining/sound deadening or insulation. My Westchester seems to be a bit of a FrankenCord. My hood creates a beautiful resonance chamber to amplify engine noise.
