Hi Brutus, the VIN should be found on a tag plate that is mounted on the right side of the cowl where serial- and enginenumber is stamped.
On the right side of each stub frames is very lightley stamped 3 digit chassis number plus 1000 to rach 4 digits plus a letter; do not sandblast or scrape the area between the two rivets as it could resault in loss of the framenumbers, a single coat of paint could obsure it.
Engine Number is found on engineblock-casting first mountinglug for bellhousing lefthandside waterpump tube to radiator.

Best is to get membership of ACD-club for best support as your questions are basic and more challaging questions will comme up while mentaining this car

VIN NUMBER 810/812 was created by Brutus
Hello folks, A client of mine just bought a 1937 Cord and I'm having a hard time to find the location of the VIN number to transfer the documents. Please, any help will be appreciated. One more thing, does the engine has a number identification? Where it would be?

Thank you guys very much.

Best regards from Brazil.
