A picture is worth a thousand words. The pictures of that cord engine and tranny were exactly what I needed. The biggest downside to me having to do the research. Is I'm at work, and have no internet at home. I happen to work at a salvage yard in Okanogan, Wa. Being in the office all day with the nice a/c <!-- s8) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cool.gif" alt="8)" title="Cool" /><!-- s8) --> is very nice. But were extremely busy, somedays I go home and when I go to bed I swear on my life, I can still here the phones ringing. I appreciate very much that someone was able to so quickly find a link to the picture I needed. It took me five minutes after being told the date and location of the pics. Versus 5 days of scrounging around. I think all I have left to find is some fuel lines that run from tank to fuel pump and from pump to carburetor. And possibly a float for the carb. Then I believe my job will be done. :P

Travis, Your profile certainly doesn't give up your location to anyone! You might be close to someone who knows something about Cords. While it will not answer all of your questions a good place to start would be to purchase the 810/812 Cord Service Bulletins &amp; Parts List from the ACD Automobile Museum for about $60 (<a href="mailto:[email protected]][email protected][/url]). Just a small correction. You mean supercharged. No Cords were turbocharged.
CORDially Mike

That was perfect Johnathon. Even better than not having anything obstructing the view from the side, there's nothing obstructing the view anywhere. So very much appreciated, took days if not weeks of trial and error out of the way. Thank you.

I did include in my description that it was "turbo charged" in the first line :) I will try finding that link. Thank you.

Travis75:
You are silent as to whether the engine you are working on assembling
is supercharged or not. I suggest you have a look at a post entitled "1937
Cord 812 S/C Engine" dated 9-6-08 and posted at the "Picture Gallery"
forum of this website by the site administrator Mr. Bill Hummel. Hope this
will be of some help to you in your blindfolded assembly process. Jonathan

37 CORD 812 RESTORATION PICS was created by TRAVIS75
I was awarded the task of finding any info and pics I can for a 1937 Cord 812 turbocharged. Fortunately I wasn't put in charge by the owner of the business I work for, in putting it all together. This thing from the hood back is or was already complete. The whole rest of the front of it was in pieces, including the engine. The engine took about 5 tries to get it put back together right, but it is done. We have absolutely no manuals at all. Its just kinda been like pick up a piece and see where it fits...fun stuff. What would be very helpful is if someone had a pictures of the passenger and drivers side of a restored or at least complete engine and wiring and vacuum lines for the transmission. Most importantly is that these pics be without the fenders/skirting so that we can see the routing of all wires and cables etc. I've searched high and low for pics and have found a few but with the fender/skirting on it that obscure the view really needed.

On another note also looking for a rebuilt carburetor a-18492 (carb number) carb type is an AA-25. Feel free to email any info at all, any tips or websites everything is appreciated.
