There is one way to see if it is a Cord, Hupp or Graham and that is to measure the wheelbase. Cord (standard body) is 125" and the Hupp and Graham (if my memory serves me right) is 118". But with all of that, one could still adapt a Cord stub frame to a H or G. I have seen this done in the past and the builder use a standard Cord hood and fence assembly. The only give away was the late model V-8 engine! I guess it pays to keep the hood closed!
CORDially,
Al Hatch

I may be in the minority but I have always liked the nose of the Graham.

This car has been so radically altered that no one may ever know what it started out as. With the availbility of after-market serial number plates I suppose it could have started out as a Cord, Hupp, or Graham.
In any event, my opinion is that the only certain thing about it is that the customizer sure uglied up what started out as a beautiful car. <!-- s:cry: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cry.gif" alt="" title="Crying or Very sad" /><!-- s:cry: -->

I would say you are right. At one time, I had a '41 Hupp Skylard that sat beside my 812 Beverly Cord. It may a nice display! But the car featured in the ebay ad could also be a Hollywood Graham. The hood and lower grille openings look to be either Hupp or Graham.
At any rate, it is an interesting take on the Cord design. What do you think Gordon Buehrig would say?
