Below are factory photos of the prototype Hupp Hupmobile Skylark. It is much more Cord-like than the eventual production model. Note the Cord-like grille, name plate at back edge of side/rear grille, rather than centered, wipers on roof, rounded bumpers, tail lights in trunk lid, Cord style license plate bracket, Cord style trunk latches, hub caps instead of wheel covers, Cord style interior headliner, sheet metal apron (transmission cover on Cords) in front, and butt-ugly centered name plate in grille.

The car pitches front-down an inch to allow for rear-wheel drive. Power plant was a normally-aspirated flat head 6.

Tastes vary, but I think Hupp should have dropped that name plate and stayed with the Cord front-end look on this one...
