We just completed 5000 miles with no lead additive. But I have hardend seats and SS valves, double whamie. This is with L-29 Cord though not 810/12.

Dennis:
You will get varying opinions on this, but here is my viewpoint on it. I keep lead additive in the trunk of my Auburn at all times and add some every time I add fuel. The product is only $3-$4.00 per bottle, available everywhere, and it has to be good for the engine. I'm going to do everything I can for my 77 year old $15,000 engine. I recommend that you do the same for your Cord.
Kindest regards,
Steve Stevens

Being new to the ACD world, I have a question on gas, should I be using a lead additive in my 810 Cord?
