The air vents on the front of the hood are neat.

Hi Joris

This Cord is a Supercharged Cord Covertible Coupe (2 seater, sometimes refered to as a cabriolet or sportsman). If you look through this forum you should be able to find several phots of cars like this.

I seem to remember seeing an old photo of this car or one very similar to it somewhere, I'll have to dig through my old photos.

Do you have any other details on the car or your grandfather you could share with us? What years he owned it, where he lived, what happened to the car, any numbers from the car (an old title or registration may have these. We may be able to track down the car today.

Jim

What type of Cord exactly ? was created by Joris
This is the Cord my grandfather owned in 1937. What I want to know is what the exact type of this Cord is. I am looking for more detailed pictures of this type of Cord (engine / in-site / ...). Who is able to help me.

My father remembers the Cord as a type 812 supercharged two seater. Does a Cord 812 Roadster exist ?
