A picture is worth a thousand words. If it's a beat up Hupp Skylark missing it's engine it might be worth $3k. If it's a 812SC Conv coupe that is complete it's worth much much more. If it's a salvageable Cord I'm sure someone will pay you a finders fee but I wouldn't expect to make a fortune unless it's the latter of what I suggested.

812 Barn Find Questions ? was created by codyology
I have run across I believe is a 812 cord. It appears to be in good shape but was painted flat black some years ago I got one picture which I will post later. But my question is does people pay a finders fee for a car like this? After going thru your forums for a while I've find out everyone has a passion for these, and since I'm a hotrodder at heart and I would not bring it back to original I figured it would be better of in someone elses hands.
When I first saw it I had no clue what it was but I went thru a couple ideas about bagging it and hotrodding it. But as i see now there are alot of people who would probable kill me if I did something like that to this car. I figured where it sits it could be purchased for a 2 or 3 thousand bucks.
I well be posting a picture in the next couple days so everyone can see if it really is a 812. Find the couple pictures I seen in Hemmings motor news of ones it is.
