There is no heater hose that connects to the thermostat housing. Besides the hose on the water pump as Josh states, the other one attaches to the cylinder head on the passenger side. Remove the plug.
I believe that the shut off valve also goes here also.

The feed hose for the heater attaches to the upper left corner of the water pump on all Cord V8s. 1936 Service Bulletin #15 has instructions.

heater hoses on a SC car was created by elliotta
Can anyone provide a picture, drawing or description of how heater hoses are routed and connected on a SC car?
The only (poor quality) picture I have shows a fitting tapped into the RH thermostat housing. Was there a special housing for use with a heater or did you just drill and tap into a standard housing?
I know that the other hose connects to a shut-off valve screwed into the LH side of the water pump.
Can anyone help?
