Is this what I think it is?

I beleve it's a Cord body, if i look closley at the holes in the dashboard and there is no hint of windowventframes that the Hupmobile Skylark and Graham Hollywood had and obviusley the doorcardboards are still in place otherwise one could see the different door inner panel and shorter runnerchannel for the windermechanisme.

nice find, I think you are correct. I've worked with them before and I was thinking the same exact thing.

I got a 48% too...I felt like I was guessing on the majority.

At the end of the test they ask for car test requests, Please submit a request for 1930's cars. Maybe they will do one.

This message is for Balinwire. I don't know what this great game has to do
with Cord 810/812 but it was a lot of fun. Congratulations to club member
MDSBOB who scored 83%. I scored only 73% ( 35 out of 48) which is just
above the average of 70%. Not enough cars in the 1930 to 1959 period, in
fact I don't think there were any. For us old timers past 70 years old we
need older cars in addition to better eyes and a sharper memory. Thanks

OK, I accept the challenge from always entertaining Bailinwire. How
about Buick Le Sabre and Mercury Tracer ? Studebaker's Land Cruiser
and Oldsmobile's Cutlass and Custom Cruiser models might qualify if we
accept that a naval vessel known as a cruiser is a "weapon".
I really wish I had better or more productive things to occupy my
time , but when you get past 70 years of age you tend to be grateful for
any activity more exciting than snow falling or grass growing. Richards

The car industry is always looking for unique names for its cars.
The first car to be named after a weapon was the Pierce Arrow.
It's been followed by vehicles such as the Dodge Magnum, the AMC Javelin and the Sunbeam Rapier. Any more cars named after weapons?

Randy, I noticed the same "Custom Westchester?" discrepancies. I was pretty sure the car was a Cord but the oddities are why I decided to double-check.

The body is Cord, you can count the instrument holes in the dash.

I'm not sure of the make and model, but what I wanted to publicize is that no matter how historically important, financially devastating, or significantly rare, the best examples of incredible motor cars were collected and lost to neglect and ignorant thieves because of stupid greedy morons. The museum was a money maker, when the wife had Robert assasinated because of her affair, she went to jail and the kids ignored the security of the museum... which is fundamentally the inheritance they are losing due to fighting for. One of only two Tuckers to ever leave America, one record setting vehicle of national pride importance to Brazil, a Gran Prix winning 1932 Alfa, and others. Rusting. Exposed to rain and floods.

Enjoy what museums and collections you can, because they can be lost instantly... just ask New Orleans collectors, or the morons who inerited the Deer Park Winery and Auto Museum, the largest collection of convertibles in the world as I understand it, right here in San Diego.
