Actualy i was wrong about the putty and layers of paint on my car, all there is, is sound steel ( exept floor but not too bad ) original primer, original Palmbeachtan color an an other layer of grey primer no putty on other place than the rear lower panel and Bustletrunklid which is lightley dented. At one point the frontfloor was replaced with a flat steelboard that is flexing if you stand on it, like the whitemetalfrogs that jumps after the material streches out again.
Keep us up to date with some pic's too.

Your project looks like it would be a great deal of fun. This stage must be just like Christmas morning; unwrapping everything and seeing what you have got!
Right now on our project I am still at the stage of stripping one of the donor vehicles and searching for another. Also trying to dig up some more history on the car. Now that I have the wood stove fixed in the shop I might even be able to get back out there this week (-35C today... Brrrr)
All the Best!

The speedodrive has number 92143 , how is it mounted in the timingchaincover ? I guess it should be a bronce bearing that holds it to the cover ? Have you got a pic how it should look like ?

C 105 171. The car was owned in 1972 by C. Audet in Claifornia. This information is from Ron Irwin's Master Cord List. Hope this is helpful to you and corrects a lot of information.

here are more parts that i would like to ask one of you to identify, if you can. It's still my '37 basket-case 812 Custom beverly SC/stanard mix.
Correct thrououtbearing ?
SC-camschaft ? Is the drivinggear for the supercharger normaly shrunk or pressed on the silver part right after the middlebearing ?
Doese someone recall a person or workshop related to the name " D.G. Hellman " who registered obviusly my Cord KAX 514 the last time 1974 for Mr. C.C. Audet
Correct Radiator with original honeycomb-patern ?
I found some engine-parts wrapped up in this newspaper " S.A. Examiner Jan. 24. 1967 " . Is that a speedogear ? Who knows where the S.A. Examiner was based or mainley distributed. This date marks one of the worst hurrykans that have destroyed St.Louis county since 1967.
Most likley the engine and stubframe was changed then from SC to standard.
What are these parts ?
Tis is a pic of the current stubframe 1482 fitted to my car.
For any help thank you, this is very aprisiated.
