I looked through my back issues of the Newsletter as I had seen what you are talking about in using a clip from a Chevrolet. Unfortunatly, my issues back of 2003 are not available right now. I would say it was in a Newsletter issue shortly before 2003. Good luck.

Sedan door handles & bezels was created by redfred
I guess the body work on my sedan was atrocious, and the door panals are very thick with lead & bondo. The stock bezels or escutheon well not work "they're all busted up anyway", and now my rear door handles aren't long enough for use with the 2 old repo escutheons that I have (the kind that recieve a nut inside the door). I've heard of guys using some modern clip on the old broken escutheon that allows for thick door skins. Anyone familiar with this process? Anyone have anymore repo eschutions, or long door handles? Is there a way to lengthen the square shafts on these?
Getting there, RF.
