Hi Pete, I would look into Irontite Ceramic Motor Seal. It is sold by Goodson Shop- Supplies. They sell products to the Auto machine shop trade. There phone no. is 1-800-533-8010. If you would rather talk to the manufacturer of the product call 1-800-553-5953. I have not personally used it but if I had a problem like yours that is what I would use.

I've had good luck with Aluma-Seal, the silver powder in the little plastic tube. It completely repaired a pinhole in a freeze plug that I couldn't reach.

pete rhoads, restoring 810 phaeton 2241 H

Gents- 2241H is now running! My fixing the manifold drain hole and torquing down the intake manifold seems to have fixed the leak I had last week. I'm running the engine with the car jacked up in the front, and I noticed a small weeping crack in the RH head just above a bolt along the bottom of the head. It's small crack and a small leak, and I wonder if anyone has had experience with one of the radiator stop leak liquids or tablets that are available. I think that's all that is needed.
Thanks in advance!
