The louver at the bottom of the hood at the front center line is about 3/4th of an inch forward of the one at the bottom & they are staggered back as they go down from top to bottom. They are basically horizontal viewed from the side except that when the car is unloaded the bottom side of the frame (vertical station zero) is tilted up about 1 & 1/4 inch higher @ the rear axle center line than it is at the front axle. The new look? The 1938 prototype was sloped the opposite way at the front.

Just curious about this one. I've read that the louvers on the Cord actually tilt rearward to give the visual illusion of forward movement (given stock conditions and flat road/surface, etc.). Is this true or just misinformation?
