I contacted Auburn / Cord Parts and, unfortunately they have not been able to get the #3012 rubber for several years now and have not found a good substitute.

Anyone know where it can be obtained ?

Thanks !

Hi Bill,

Are you talking about the rubber that is around the upper part of the door or at the bottom of the door. If it is the rubber that fit at the bottom of the door that seals up against the door sill plates, too the best of my knowledge no one that I know of produces it. The upper rubber is handled by Stan Gilliland.

CORDially,

Al Hatch

Rubber for Doors was created by Bill McLaughlin
I have a friend in Spain who needs the rubber weather-stripping which is attached to the body around where the doors close for his 4 door Beverly.

He has looked at the normal rubber repro people but says they don't specifically make this rubber strip.

Any idea who makes it or is there a universal rubber strip that is used ?

Thanks !
