Bill, you are correct about the inside frame color being tan . I have also seen some many years ago, apparently original , sort of a Grey color. If you look carefully at original factory photos of Cord convertibles you will see that the two window sizes were used interchangeably on both body styles . Use whichever you like . Henry

I do not know the definitive answer.
I know there were two sizes. I don't know of any other Cabriolets besides mine with the larger window. Having the wrong size window is the least of my problems!
It's not easy seeing out the larger window, I can't imagine peeping out the little one.
I think Brad Waken said the larger one was the later one. But it was real late on Ninth Street and things were a little hazy ....

I thought there was a large one for the phaeton and a small for the coupe? Was there more than one size for the coupe?

Looks ok to me. This is the SMALL oval window.
There was a larger one, that's that I have. To my knowledge they all used screws. The only thing I see that is odd is that the side with the screws has been chromed. I thought they were tan or the color of the cloth top. Mine is tan on the inside and chromed on the outside.
