I wish I had known that those were out there. About a month ago I sent my core boxes to produce windshield frames for the 36-37 convertibles, to the foundry to be up dated into follow boards. Core boxes are more costly and complicated to work with. What I'm paying to have them reworked, I could have bought his patterns twice over! In any case, I'll have all three pieces available in about 3 months. Plus the right, left, and center brackets for the upper glass frame.

I talked to a Cord expert earlier in the week and he said he thought that if these are the one he knows of all the pieces might not be there.

These patterns are still available. He did end up giving me a detailed description of where they came from with him acquiring them as along with a phaeton he purchased.

The one casting that goes with the package is the center section which is the one piece I need. He wants to sell everything as a package - if anybody is interested I will throw in money just for the center piece.

I asked him when the last time they were used and who the foundry was. The reply was:

"indiana foundry just went out of business"

As a eBay nit, taking 2 minutes to answer a question with a little more detail would certainly help the sales process. Anyways, I'm sure somebody here is probably familiar with this project.

Anybody happens to buy these I'll buy a center post if you cast them in brass.
