The CLOCK DOC is rcommended by Stewart Warner who made the gauges originally. Clock Doc repaired all of mine and I am very happy.

I can't think of the name off hand but there's a company that rebuilds speedo's for many brands of street rods using the original speedo. They can redo the face to original, recalibrate, repair, etc. Go to a magazine shop and flip thru any of the street rod magazines. They used to run full page ads on the back or inside cover in Rod & Custom. I want to say the name was United Speedometers but I may be wrong.

If your cable is bad take it to a shop that can make a new one. It should be 112 9/16 inches long. Can't help you on rebuilding of the instrument. good luck.

Speedometer needs to be rebuilt--can you help was created by Keith
My speedometer cable went haywire and the needle of my speedometer did as well. I now have a very scratched up speedometer and perhaps something broken inside as well. I have disconnected it. Does anyone have a recommendation of who might be able to refurbish/rebuild/re-paint my speedometer? I live in Connecticut but of course this can easily be sent out. Keith (1937 Cord 812 S/C Cabriolet) I will undoubtedly also need a new cable. Are they unique?
I appreciate any help.
