Sorry, Russell. My car is not handy and I don't write down the numbers. Any interchange book (at auto supply store) should be able to help.

Thanks again Josh.

Please tell me the number of the Autolite equivalent - I may need to use these if I can't find the Champion H10s.

Cheers
Russell

Dunno. I run a 6v Pertronix (many miles now) and the Autolite equivalent of Champ H-10s. (I use Autolite because they still blacken rather than cad plate the metal part, and I'm lazy.) Plugs still read OK --- don't seem to be too hot.

Thanks Josh. Most helpful.

I'm about to install a 6V Pertronix ignition, which I assume will give better/hotter spark.

Do you think this would call for a cooler plug?

Regards
Russell

The Cord came from the factory with Champion H-10 plugs.

Advice on spark plugs was created by Russell Colman
I'd appreciate some advice on the best spark plugs for use in my 812 FB engine.

A quick search of forum postings showed some discussion mentioning Champion H8 (equiv RH8C) and Champion H10 (equiv RH10C) plugs. The 10 is a hotter plug than the 8.

Does heat range make a difference?

I currently have Bosch W8BC plugs in the car but these don't appear to be made any more.
