This old Westchester was owned by a fellow named Dandridge in central
California for a few years in the 60's. Then Ray Box of Oroville, CA
bought it. I don't know which installed the 302 Ford. I do know that the
FB774 engine isn't listed as surviving or with another Cord in my records.

LOOKING FOR HISTORY OF CORD 1579A was created by sunroofcord
We are trying to trace the history of a 1936 Cord Westchester Serial #1579A Body #C90 590. This is an early car with the cowl vent fillers and has been modified with what we believe to be a 1978 Ford 302 motor. It was owned by an R Box of California in 1991. Does anyone know R Box or what part of California he may be in???? The original motor in the car was FB774. Does anyone know where this motor is???? Thanks.
