Thanks to everyone who has helped. I'm not a Cord owner (or an Auburn owner, or a Duesenberg owner) but I love the cars and collecting info on them.

Since you are nice enough to consider a copy of my book, here's a Berline note. The "telephone" referred to did not connect to a telephone landline. Instead, it was what we would call an "intercom", permitting the owner to shout at his chaffeur without raising his voice or lowering the partition :-)

Thanks to both of you for your help. I will look for a copy of the book to supplement Mr. Malks's "Duesenberg Buyer's Guide" on my shelf. :D

Correction: That's 9 ('37) Custom Berlines & (5) '37 S/C Custom Berlines. No '36 cars at all.

(9) '36 Custom Berlines; (5) '37 Custom Berlines are with the Club currently. No doubt there's a few more out there known/unlisted, known/non-member owners, unknown/LTS* (*Long Term Storage) otherwise described as "lost". Not aware of any recreation from a non-Berline sedan but it is within the realm of possibilities.

Won't give away the facts found in "Timeless Classic" since you need that book if you're asking that question.

Other scenarios include <!-- s:shock: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_eek.gif" alt=":shock:" title="Shocked" /><!-- s:shock: -->

Sure. Find a copy of "Cord 810/812: The Timeless Classic". :-)

Cord Berline production numbers was created by Chris Summers
Does anyone know the production and survivor numbers of the Cord 812 Custom Berlines? I understand they had divider windows and were available with special backseat equipment like a telephone.
