Any Cord stub frame, early or late, open or closed, can benefit by reinforcement. A series of articles on the Cord chassis will start in the Newsletter in issue #4 this year.
Oscar, you might contact Cord Technician Henry Portz. He can probably give you dimensions.

I am starting to restore the sub-frame for my phaeton and am needing size dimensions for the gusset plates and angle iron to be welded to the frame. I know the locations for the additional metal sections to be added but don't have size or dimensions. Any help most appreciated. oscar
