Cords in South Africa

This Cord with all its funny accessories was acquired by my friend Mike Otto and re-built into the stunning car it is today. (The cream Beverley on my Website). It was our wedding car in Feb 05 - see pics posted by Bill a few months ago. I think this car was built in the 60's and as there were no spares available and the owner wanted to impress - he fabricated pipes and used other hubcaps and caravan windows as the windscreens! Just as well Mike saved it from further embarrassment!!

Not to mention the left wiper arm!

Notice also the rounded corners of the windshield frames in the center. It also looks like there are drip rail mouldings above the doors. Or maybe the doors just don't fit right. The picture is a little fuzzy there.

The picture you sent in is interesting. Looks like the S/C pipes were added as a 3rd party product.

They also mounted turn signal lights in the fenders. I definitely would have found a different way to do that!
