Mike - To clairify - they work when I hook them up! Like everything else on a Cord - they work when they want to!

Hi Terry,
I don't think it maters. The switch is just open and closed so the power can go either way. I have hooked them up both ways and they always work.

Stop Light Switch Wiring was created by Terry Cockerell
I have what I believe is an original stop light switch with one screw in connection longer than the other. I read somwhere but can't find the reference that the red power wire goes to a specific connection.
Can anybody tell me which one it is or does it really matter?
