Here are some pictures of what I believe to be original ignition spark plug wire color. I purchased this mess for the parts years ago. The wires are shot but the cap n cover along with the rusted wire looms are the parts I wanted.

Brillman has black Shiny Braided Cloth Covered Wire - nice stuff.

The car that just won Best of Show at ACD Festival appeared in a random photo that I saw to have maroon - WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF REPRODUCED OR THEY RE-LAQUERED THE WIRE.

I believe the original color was black or a very dark maroon. I will remove a spark plug wire from the cad plated plug wire holders later. Shop is 97 degrees. Too hot to think or fish.
