I 100% agree with you. There are so many oddities about the Cord and when it came to Cord Dealers , they supplied what they had. Many years ago I helped do some cosmetics on a early 810 Maroon Cord Phaeton that was low mileage and never been touched. It was equipped with an Auburn heater from the dealership.

I agree with you; they look different BUT the front of the car is a photo and the fog lights are drawings. I am assuming that the fog lights were not in hand at the time of printing the accessory booklet and the fog lights shown in the drawing were not chosen but Fog Kings were substituted in their place. That is my explanation.
