Mine appear to be painted black. The actual bumper bar is supposed to be painted body color. Back bumper bar is also body color. Like you I have seen all manner of chrome or paint on these items.

Dear friends, Is the correct color of the bumper holder black or the color of the car? I saw a photo of a Cord with the chrome support but I believe it is not the correct one. I appreciate your help.
