Replied by Ivor on topic Auburn with continental engine
Hello Bruce,
The info I have came from the ACD CD and was compiled in 1973 by Bert Tempelton, it states the 28L was the Continental engine used in the 1927 6-66A this was unusual as the 6-66 the previous year had the Lycoming 6 cylinder engine, and Auburn owned the Lycoming manufacturing company,it was also the last year Auburn used a Continental engine to my Knowledge.

I have recently found an Auburn with a 6 cylinder Continental engine in it. The serial no. on it is: 1-28L5363. I am hoping that someone will know where to find some info about Continental engines on internet.
