I appreciate you posting of your family's coupe. I am rebuilding a basket case '31 coupe and I would love to correspond with you. Thank you for your posting of your car.

What more could a person ask for but, to be remembered decades after passing.

I must say this has been a good day.

Thanks,
Bud

Randy,

You are correct, Owen Miles was my great uncle.
My Dad purchased the car from him in the 70's.
I have Owen's scrapbook, official judging forms, photos before and after his restoration.

It is a small world and I think you for contacting me.

Auburn 8-98A 1931 was created by Bud
We have a 1931 Auburn 8-98A Cus Coupe. The car was first sold July 14, 1932.
First purchaser was in San Francisco, Calif.

My family purchased the car in 1966 and is garage kept.

This is the only Custom Coupe of this kind that we can find.

The Auburn museum's only reply, "What a beautiful car". No other information included.

Any information or suggestions about the 8-98A would be appreciated.
