With computer generated programs , silkscreeners can put any numbers on the glass they want to. You can be sure the speedometer drive gears would not be compatible. A matching numbered car is not always restored correctly.

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

Sorry on my proofreading - it was an S/C car - Supercharged and was a matching # car.

Hello,

maybe it was an european speedometer version with a Km/h scale/index instead the mph index. 200 km/h = 125 mph

Cheers

Auburn 852 200 Mile Speedometer ? was created by johnmereness
I was standing in a warehouse yesterday and unfortunately was not in a good place to snap a picture, though has anyone ever seen a 200 MPH speedometer in an Auburn S/S car - it is an 852 cabriolet. I was a little surprised to see such a thing in an 852 and it looked seriously to be the proper gauge.
