Most often factory replacement parts were not serial numbered.

Hello everyone: I'm helping new Club member Les Gerber disassemble his 37 S/C Beverly. No serial number could be found on the tranny. Yes, the cover was removed. Just curious; has anyone else found a tranny with no stamped serial number on it?
