The orig seal was cast with a steel liner. So it was simply held on with a oval head slotted countersunk wood screw that was chrome plated.

I think the seal is just held on with trim screws in the rubber seal.
That is how the seal is held on the cabriolet post I have. No idea if original or not.
I'll try to get a picture on the weekend.

Hello Phaeton owners:

at my car the window seals at the pillars and roof bars were missed.




I have now the correct rubber profile:





The question is how this profile is attached to the pillars and rails.



Is there a kind of U-shaped steel rail?
Anybody could show me a picture of this part?
