I'm with Andreas. It may be a butcher job on an early speedster body. Remember the Frankenburn?

It?s an interesting piece of junk.
Looks like made in the 40ies or early 50ies. Obvioulsly they made a wood/ steel body for this replika, or possibly the body came from an original Speedster?

I didn't see an Auburn part on it.

Looking thru the pics, I cannot figure out [i:3rtgn197]what[/i:3rtgn197] this is, or was
The doors definitely look like those on a 29, the rear end and spring hangers look period correct, and alot of the wood also.
"BUT" there are many, with more knowledge than I on this board, so I thought I would ask opinions.
(I am NOT interested in buying it, nor do I know anything about the car or its' owners)

Andy
