31 axle specs - king pin inclination? was created by Brad Hoskins
Every part I pick up on this car needs work! I'm just trying to get the darned thing sitting back on wheels and it is fighting every attempt. Now it is the axle!
Front axle is bent both ways Right corner is down and back. Was going to take it to a truck shop and see if they could straighten it but I'm guessing they are going to need to know the king pin inclination to get it right.
If any one knows this spec great. If not, any ideas on how I might obtain this?
Checked the service manual and found nothing under wheel alignment.
I'm also presuming that the axle is supposed to be straight left to right looking down from the top. Can anyone confirm?
Anyone have an unused (and straight) axle sitting in a corner that they are tired of moving around?
Thanks
Brad
